NHK

NHK, or Nippon Hoso Kyokai, is Japan’s national public broadcasting organization. It was established in 1926 and is responsible for producing and distributing television and radio programming across Japan. NHK operates multiple television and radio channels, offering a wide range of content including news, educational programs, cultural shows, and entertainment. As a public service broadcaster, NHK is funded primarily through viewer licensing fees rather than advertising, which allows it to focus on providing impartial and high-quality programming to the public. NHK also has an international broadcasting service, NHK World, which provides news and information about Japan to a global audience.
