Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic is a professional basketball team based in Orlando, Florida. They are a member of the Southeast Division in the Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team was established in 1989 and has since become known for its distinctive blue and white colors. The Magic play their home games at the Amway Center, which opened in 2010. The team’s name, “Magic,” is derived from the city of Orlando’s association with magic and entertainment, notably as a tourist destination featuring theme parks. The franchise has had periods of success, including playoff appearances and trips to the NBA Finals, most notably in 1995 and 2009, though they have yet to win a championship.
